Do You Have What You Desire?

If you are like me, you may think that your thoughts are focused on the things you desire in life, but are they really?

Take a look around. Are you surrounded by everything and everyone you love? Do you find yourself moving in the direction of your dreams, or do you find yourself stuck in some kind of situation that keeps repeating itself in some form again and again?

If what you find around you is not your heart’s desire, or if you find yourself like Bill Murray did in “Groundhogs Day,” living the same experience over and over again, then you have an opportunity to take a deeper look at what’s really going on.

Do you find yourself looking at anything negatively?… for someone or something to blame? …to judge? … or to complain about?

If there is something in your life that you don’t quite understand how it got there, something that is not to your liking, or if you have it in your life for awhile and then poof! It’s gone, then you’re attention has strayed from what you desire… and you may not even realize it!

Do you believe in yourself? Do you believe you can have what you desire?… do what you desire?… be what you desire?

Where is your attention… all of your attention?… Is it in gratitude for everything and everyone around you? If your thoughts stray from gratitude, then I can assure you there is something in your life that is not working the way you’d like. The things that happen in your life that you feel like complaining about have a message for you, they are mirroring something in you that you would rather not look at, and that’s why they are there… to make themselves known to you so that you can make the inner shift in your attention that will make the difference between having what you desire in your life, or not. Complaining is your inability to see the good in something. Remember, it is all here for your good.

I know, it may be difficult to wrap your arms around, but I assure you, look deeply enough and you will see it.

If you find yourself stuck, if you find that something you desire is alluding you, then take a look at your thoughts… all your thoughts… take a look at your words. Are you truly in alignment with what you say you desire?… what you say you believe? Get into the practice of asking yourself often, “where is my attention?”

Whether it’s praise, love, criticism, lack of respect, money, time , space, power, punishment, sorrow, laughter, care, pain, or pleasure… the more you give the more you will receive… so pay attention!

The only thing that stand between you and what you desire, are the thoughts you choose.
